THE UPDATED GUIDE FOR EACH DEPARTMENT. please read.

The board of directors' decision
-this is the recent update concerning the responsibility of each department.
- you have a chance to voice up your ideas or suggestions,but before carrying it out, please consult your CEO and the board of directors. Don't do anything as you like. This is not a game.

-we'll be keeping the stocks in bilik pengawas. I need volunteers to take the products down before and after recess. Anyone?
I anticipate the active participation of members from the production dep., as their roles are limited.


CEO: Yee Teng
(enacts the role of supervisor)

- in charge of all the departments
- You must be clear about what the members are doing. EVERYTHING.
- has the right to hold a department directors meeting if necessary ONLY with the committee’s permission
- brings up reports from the departments to the board of directors

Speaking of reports, include:
- the decision. What are you going to do?
- rough estimation of cost. Mind you, keep the budget as low as possible.


Finance department

- financial recording (records incoming funds and profit margin)
- identify the total cost used in promoting, marketing etc.
- I need you to come up with a systematic and less complicated method to record the income
- manage stock: you must know how many stocks are there kept in store? How many that was sold today? Any loss of stock will be under your responsibility.

Please realise the importance of your role. You may be having meetings with the treasurer, Hui Li.


Marketing department

I need you to be as creative as possible. Brainstorm for ideas, something out of the box!
- to woo customers to buy the products (e.g. put fragrant stuff in love- shape holder, sweets etc., sell teddy bear with cards)
-product packaging is your job, and you'll also be going around convincing people to purchase your products

-If we fail to generate a positive response from the students, you have make decisions: ask yourselves questions like:
1. is it necessary to lower the price? why?
2. if it is necessary, then how much should the price be lowered?
--you are also in charge of finding SPONSORS. For this event , we do not have the need for any sponsors, so count yourselves lucky. Sponsorships jump in when there is a lack of funds. :-)
*marketing director HAS to report any plans that are related to money (or where money is needed) to the finance department so that finance department can work out budget


Media department

Hopefully you know how to photoshop. YOU decide the method to advertise our project. Publicity of the club depends on you. (imagine, you're going to make our club famous)
- plans how to promote our project (by blog? facebook? flyer? banner?)
- photoshops flyers
- arrange for photographers
- if possible make videos on that project to post on website


Production department

People who have the eloquence of Barrack Obama can unleash their potential.
I'm looking for people who are possess remarkable writing skills.
- creates commercial content (for flyers, banners, or whatever form of promotion the media department decides on)

1. production department drafts commercial content, sends it to media department
2. media department photoshops, edit etc., and sends draft to committee members
3. committee members approves
4. if necessary, media department reports to financial department if and only if any money is needed to promote (in printing)


The board of directors will be supervising all of you, so don't freak. Spill your suggestions, questions and comments below.

Kiss April goodbye and here comes May! We're having a sale (initially called the Mother's Day event.)

Members! I need your proposals by Wednesday! Please tell me what have your department planned to make this event a success.

Here are the list of products we're going to sell:

3. Cat-50 units- RM1 each

4. Campap pencil -no. of units not identified yet-RM2 each

5. Faber Castell pencil- no. of units not identified yet- RM3 each
